Hello! My name is Gabriel Henderson. I am currently a Marketing major at The University of Akron, where I am expected to graduate in May 2026. I have built a strong foundation in marketing through both my education and hands-on work experience in customer service and leadership roles. I currently work as a Shift Lead Manager at Donatos Pizza, where I oversee daily operations, train new employees, manage cash handling, and ensure high-quality customer service. I also previously worked as an Associate at Donatos, where I developed strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment. In addition, I recently completed a Marketing and Guest Services internship with Visit Canton, where I assisted with visitor services, created marketing content research, and supported social media and data entry tasks. I have also been actively involved in DECA, where I competed at the state level in marketing competitions and strengthened my leadership and presentation abilities. My academic and project experience includes work such as a capstone rebrand of Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and market research projects analyzing consumer trends and competition. Through these experiences, I have developed skills in digital marketing, data analysis, CRM tools like HubSpot, and software such as Microsoft Office and Canva. Overall, I am focused on building a career in marketing by combining real-world experience with strong analytical and creative skills.
